Nestled in the luxurious hills of Son Vida and enclosed by green and fragrant pine forests, this magnificent villa offers breath-taking views – embracing the sapphire-coloured Palma Bay and the one-of-a-kind medieval Castillo de Bellver – that play a major role in shaping the interiors.
While the architect who designed the villa, David Domínguez from E-concepto studio, has managed to brilliantly emphasise the verticality of the architecture, Terraza Balear has carried out the interior concept of the 1.000 square meters built on three levels, transferring the philosophy and essence that represent the company to each of the rooms in the house. The selection of fine materials, such as stone and walnut, together with organic colours, textures and shapes provide and reinforce the curated and well-balanced contrasts that integrate perfectly with the spectacular landscape.
In the main entrance, the architectural elements intentionally seek to emphasise the verticality and frame the view of the Castillo de Bellver through a walnut slatted ceiling. In addition to the entrance hall, the ground floor features the living room, the dining room, the main kitchen and an office that becomes reading room, as well as several terraces where the intention of blending indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly reaches its maximum splendour. Interior and exterior are here intertwined, while neutral colours, pure forms and some of the most iconic Minotti’s products become the common thread.
In the living room, everything revolves around the splendid Connery seating system by Rodolfo Dordoni, together with several other exquisite pieces by the Italian brand, such as the Torii armchairs by nendo and the Solid coffee tables, in conversation with the Jensen armchair in the reading room. The organic hues of this area are based on stone colours together with different shades of green connecting with the forest that surrounds the house.
While the massive and minimalist marble and aluminium Linha table by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 dominates the spacious dining room, the Aston stools by Rodolfo Dordoni in the kitchen area reflect, once more, the attention to every detail.
From the main terrace, the Mediterranean Sea merges with the Balearic sky, while the green forest surrounding the property and the majestic Castillo de Bellver shape the horizon. Here, Terraza Balear manages once again to connect and blend the interior and exterior through its representative colour palette. The outdoor lounge area becomes the ideal place to relax with family and friends on long summer nights, while the dining area, with a balanced mix of neutral colours and green shades, features the rationalism-inspired, elegant teak wood Quadrado table by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 together with the Aston Cord Outdoor chairs, by Rodolfo Dordoni. The pool area is conversely framed by the enveloping design of the Sunray seating system and armchairs, also by Rodolfo Dordoni, that powerfully convey a sensation of intimacy and relaxation.
On the first floor, the master bedroom is conveniently placed alongside three en-suite bedrooms, all with access to a terrace, and an intimate living room. The master bedroom is a temple of serenity and impeccable style, featuring the sophisticated king-size Lawrence Bed with a padded headboard in soft, neutral colours and walnut custom-made side tables, paired with the Jacques armchairs, the Freeman bench and the Oliver coffee table, all by Rodolfo Dordoni.
On the private terrace, it is a great pleasure to unwind on the Sunray daybed, also by Rodolfo Dordoni, while enjoying the amazing view. Last but not least, in the basement, in addition to an impressive wine cellar, there is a gym, a spa area and a fabulous indoor swimming pool. Undoubtedly, a fantastic retreat where to enjoy, both inside and outside, meaningful and precious moments with loved ones.
