In the heart of Westminster, a prestigious location with a spectacular view of London's skyline, welcomes the elegance of Minotti’s contemporary furnishing pieces.
The project, realised by Minotti London in collaboration with Northacre, the UK's most renowned prime real estate developer, and Squire and Partners, a leading London architecture firm, harmoniously blends furnishing pieces from the recent Minotti collections with the brand’s most iconic pieces, enhancing the architectural context and the striking urban setting.
The penthouse covers an area of over 400 sqm, alternating living, dining and four bedrooms with panoramic views of the city’s landmarks.
The large open space, flooded with natural light thanks to the many windows, has as its protagonist the Goodman seating system accompanied by the Russell bergère and footstool, both designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, which complete the space envisioned for relaxation.
An informal conversation area between the living room and the dining area is made cosy by the compact dimensions of the Sendai seats, designed by Japanese-Danish duo Inoda+Sveje: an unusual solution that integrates the dining area with a corner of relaxed conviviality. The latter hosts the Linha Fina table, by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, defined by a wide span with an ultra-lightweight appeal. Around it, the enveloping forms of the Leslie dining little armchairs by Rodolfo Dordoni and the Carson bar cabinet.
The kitchen is also designed to meet the needs of contemporary living. At its entrance, the light line of the Lars sofa by Inoda+Sveje, designed with a soft asymmetric curve, is echoed by the Bellagio lounge table, designed by Gordon Guillaumier, accompanied by the Torii swivel armchairs by Nendo.
Along the wall, the Calder "Bronze" console table, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, introduces the open kitchen, completed by Christophe Delcourt’s Dan table, which combines the Minotti’s savoir-faire with the French designer’s focus on every detail.
In the centre of the master bedroom is the Yang Bed, characterised by an interesting play of volumes, the result of the combination of the platform and the cantilever headboard. At the sides, the Close nightstands, also designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, are distinguished by their particular cross-shaped base, which recalls the sophisticated painted metal blades that support the bed. The second master bedroom is warmed by the palisander Santos that distinguishes the Brasilia Bed by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27: a contemporary and essential piece with its roots in Brazilian modernism, where the complexity of the design is elegantly concealed, resulting in a beautiful end product.
The timeless stylistic language of the Minotti furnishing pieces has perfectly meshed and adeptly interpreted the requirements of The Broadway, the art-deco inspired luxury residential building and a penthouse fully overlooking the beating heart of London.
