Torii Bold se caracteriza por el contraste entre los grandes volúmenes suavemente redondeados de las piezas tapizadas y la ligereza de la estructura metálica de la base sobre la que descansan.
Una familia de asientos que, partiendo del diseño original del icónico Torii del estudio Nendo, mantiene inalterada la morfología del respaldo, pero presenta una estética más sólida y compacta: las dos familias dialogan armoniosamente entre sí en un hábil juego de volúmenes llenos y vacíos.
El esbelto respaldo está marcado por las líneas verticales del acolchado y por un perfil, en piel sintética o eco-nabuck, que define el perímetro de la tapicería: detalles sartoriales que acentúan el aspecto de alta costura de la confección.
Las patas, adornadas con un pequeño botón joya, mantienen el juego de uniones entre elementos verticales y horizontales inspirado en los detalles de construcción típicos de la tradición japonesa, de la que la familia toma su nombre, y acogen el volumen tapizado de los sofás y sillones.
El sofá tiene una silueta suavemente curvada tanto en el tamaño pequeño como en el grande, ambos disponibles también en versión península.
Los sillones, por su parte, están disponibles en versión fija o giratoria, esta última con una base metálica curvada que oculta el mecanismo giratorio. Los pufs, de diferentes formas y tamaños, se hacen eco del diseño de la base del sillón y, al ofrecerse con ruedas para facilitar su desplazamiento, permiten interpretar el salón de una manera más informal.
