Con un sistema modular articulado en plataformas cuadradas suspendidas que retoman el esquema del enjaretado, una rejilla de teca que se emplea en la náutica para favorecer el flujo del agua, el arquitecto brasileño Marcio Kogan diseña un salón al aire libre solar y de gran ligereza y flexibilidad.
Un sistema versátil y dinámico de indiscutible calidad y confort que dialoga perfectamente con el ambiente circundante: una propuesta juvenil y contemporánea que invita a crear soluciones informales e inéditas.
Las bases de madera acogen cómodos cojines con relleno apoyados en respaldos de fibra entrelazada en tonalidades irregulares con efecto mimbre color Fango o en tono liso color Regaliz.
Los asientos se suceden intercalados a veces por tableros de madera equipados con bandejas y portavelas, que pueden colocarse a voluntad creando un sorprendente juego de encastres.
Un sillón de forma circular se agrega a este paisaje al aire libre, caracterizado por una marcada libertad compositiva.
Para el concepto del sistema, Kogan se ha inspirado en la arquitectura metabolista japonesa de los años cincuenta y sesenta, caracterizada por sus volúmenes modulares. Pensado originalmente para amueblar salones de grandes dimensiones con módulos de 102 x 102 cm, Quadrado integra en su gama una versión más compacta, con módulos de 87 x 87 cm que pueden agregarse entre sí para adaptarse a entornos urbanos, residenciales y hosteleros más reducidos.
La versión de cama de día doble de Quadrado tiene grandes dimensiones - 242x180 cm - y crea un nido de gran confort y máxima relajación al que entregarse. Está diseñada como una alcoba de nicho, dibujada por el respaldo y los reposabrazos con enjaretado de teca, y se complementa con un colchón generoso y cojines suaves y envolventes. La cama de día doble descansa sobre dos barras transversales metálicas de color Bronce.
