La familia Lido, también diseñada por el estudio GamFratesi, es un proyecto que expresa perfectamente la capacidad de Minotti de interpretar un mismo diseño para diferentes ambientes, tanto de interior como de exterior: son la tecnología y los materiales con los que están realizados los que definen su finalidad.
La familia Lido Cord Outdoor se compone de un sofá de salón semicurvo, un sofá lineal de dos plazas, un sillón y una butaca de comedor y salón, con un diseño envolvente que evoca la idea de un cómodo nido, además de un banco y un reposapiés.
La estructura del respaldo es de acero inoxidable pintado en Bronce y está recubierta de cuerdas de polipropileno que pueden variar desde los tonos más tradicionales de Arena, Marrón Oscuro y Negro hasta tonos más brillantes como Cedro, Azul y Petróleo. Colores, a excepción del Negro, que aporta carácter y una fuerte identidad, ligados a un imaginario paisajístico que nos transporta a lugares lejanos, ofreciendo frescura a esta familia de muebles de exterior con una estética inspirada en los años 50.
El sofá de salón semicurvo, en particular, tiene una característica base de aluminio pintado en Bronce con acabado brillante anti-touch, un elemento destacado con una fuerte matriz escultórica: por un lado ofrece un asiento formal, por otro adquiere más profundidad para convertirse en una bergère, con un respaldo que dibuja un suave nicho. Una invitación sincera a tumbarse de forma más íntima y relajada.
Por su parte, los otros elementos de la familia descansan sobre patas de caoba maciza teñida Dark Brown o de teca maciza, mientras que las mesas de centro siguen el diseño de la base en forma de X de aluminio del sofá de salón semicurvo. Propuestas con tablero circular o cuadrado, estas últimas están disponibles en cuatro tamaños y dos alturas con un tablero de piedra Basaltina cepillada de grano fino, que descansa sobre una base de cuna.
