ROGER, A VERSATILE, TAILOR-MADE SUPER SYSTEM

Roger is inspired by the idea of an open design, which can be freely composed, combining various different types of elements from over 600 pieces in the range to make the desired configuration for the customer’s living area, in line with his or her own personal needs and lifestyle. A system capable of generating infinite living solutions for interiors at different latitudes in the world, while maintaining the uniqueness and exclusivity of every proposal.

This quality is underlined by its creator, Milan-born architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni: “the real innovation of Roger consists in the fact that its design is based on an unprecedented concept. It does not simply offer the possibility to personalise a product, but aims to provide the elements needed to build it. More than a customisable sofa, Roger is a sofa that offers those who choose it the opportunity to design it the way they want”.

The system resembles a site-specific installation, also created to fit the space that hosts it, expressing the same characteristics of comfort, intimacy and aesthetic finesse in both its mini and maxi versions, in living areas with small surface areas or in larger spaces.

Roger was developed by Dordoni in collaboration with Minotti, whose hallmark is visible in the sculpted, yet soft forms of the volumes and in the tailoring of the coverings, with long horizontal seams of sartorial inspiration that express the couture vocation of the craftsmanship.

The system is comprised of three types of elements: Roger Suite with cushioned seat, Roger Spring with one-piece seat and Roger Spring Sofà, a version with a shorter seat. In particular, Roger Spring and Spring Sofà contain a very innovative solution featuring an insert with pocket springs that ensures great comfort, helping the seat - which is fully quilted on the surface - to keep its shape.

All the elements, conceived to offer different performances in terms of comfort, can be freely designed with high and low backrests, different types of armrests, as well as the Case coffee table and storage components, sophisticated solutions added to the seat, made of solid wood or with a glossy lacquered finish.

The back-to-back version, particularly suitable for multi-functional spaces, is the protagonist of the living area, offering a range of original and unexpected configurations within the same space.

The design of Roger also defines the eponymous bed, which reiterates the same aerial effect and the couture look of the headboard.

Designed for the residential environment and enhanced by an extensive catalogue of exclusive coverings created by Minotti Studio, the system is inspired by the desire to also furnish hospitality spaces, thanks to the modular nature of the elements in the range and their stylistic and morphological versatility.
